A blog I started whilst on a GE "Bubble" assignment in Nevada. I'm back in Cambridge (UK) now but still miss the desert and my friends out there.
I've been looking for a street chess set for ages so was pleased to find one when Dave and Heather were in town. It's in Twickernam near the river and York House. Good fun!

Yolanda looks puzzled. Did she win this game?
She hadn't lost by now but I did eventually win. From this position I managed to trap her knight with a G7-G5 move and that lasted most of the game.
Her counter offensive was formidable though.
Lots of fun. We are now 5 games all!
