Bubble in the desert

A blog I started whilst on a GE "Bubble" assignment in Nevada. I'm back in Cambridge (UK) now but still miss the desert and my friends out there.

Washing machine repair

My neighbour Simon helped me figure out what was wrong with my washing machine and also knew where I could order parts for it. He ordered a heating element for me and I surprisingly quickly had opened the back of the machine, took out the old one, installed the new one and everything worked fine. Whole cost of job £20 ($40).

I thought I was going to have to buy a new one and was very satisfied to have fixed it.
