Bubble in the desert

A blog I started whilst on a GE "Bubble" assignment in Nevada. I'm back in Cambridge (UK) now but still miss the desert and my friends out there.

An eco-adventure in Penzance (Cornwall)

Yolanda and I cycled along the Grand Union Canal to Paddington and put our bikes on the train bound for Cornwall. We stayed on a farm in a tent/cabin (part of the Featherdown Farm Scheme.

I'll write a bit more about the trip later, for now, here are some photos.

It is about time you crack open that "green machine"

Starting to ride around here a bit more. Did a ride from the house to Tahoe City last Sat. Very nice. Thought about our ride around the lake. You need to bring Yolanda out to do that ride.

I agree with Scott, Carl. You need to bring Yolanda out this way...Maybe you could sea kayak across the Atlantic Ocean, with you bikes attached. I am sure that Thule has some sort of bike rack for sea kayaks : ) The Sager International Dogsled Team misses you tons.
